Kreston (VN) and Kreston Italy sign Cooperation Agreement for Sustainability Reports service

On February 1, 2016, Kreston (VN) and Kreston GV Italy signed a cooperation agreement to provide consulting and auditing services for sustainability reports. While sustainability reporting is a well-known term in developed countries, it remains relatively new in Vietnam. A sustainability report reflects a company’s social responsibility and aims for sustainable development rather than profit maximization at any cost.

Currently, there are no specific regulations in Vietnam requiring companies to prepare sustainability reports alongside their annual reports or mandating their audit. However, companies aiming to build their image and invest and expand globally will need to prepare and audit these reports.

Through the cooperation with Kreston GV Italy, Kreston (VN) will receive significant support from experienced experts from developed countries in consulting on the preparation of sustainability reports and auditing these reports.
