Kreston (VN) operates Vietnam’s Transfer Pricing Database – TransferPricing.vn
Previously, when discussing databases for preparing transfer pricing documentation, people often referred to large databases provided by foreign organizations. These databases are collected from multiple countries and thus come with very high costs (tens of thousands of USD per year).
With the introduction of Decree 20/2017/ND-CP and its guiding circulars, the preparation of transfer pricing documentation has become even more stringent. Foreign databases with high costs often exceed the budget of many medium and small-sized enterprises.
Additionally, Decree 20 also details the preference for using domestic comparables before resorting to foreign comparables. The data must be publicly disclosed, and the scope of comparables is expanded within the same national economic sector.
In response to these requirements, Kreston (VN) has launched TransferPricing.vn – the first database in Vietnam dedicated to Transfer Pricing. TransferPricing.vn is designed to strictly comply with the regulations of Decree 20 in preparing transfer pricing documentation, such as databases of companies collected from over 2100 public and listed companies on the Vietnamese stock market (verifiable on the Vietnam Securities Commission’s information portal), and companies categorized according to the Vietnamese economic sector classification system (verifiable on the National Business Registration Portal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment).
