Kreston (VN) launches financial data portal
On August 19, 2020, Kreston Vietnam officially launched the Financial Data Portal at:
The financial data portal by Kreston (VN) allows users to search for and download audited financial statements and audit reports of public companies in Vietnam for free. Users can search using specific accounting and auditing criteria such as company name, company type, name of the auditing firm, and even the type of audit opinion.
Additionally, with this launch, the financial data portal also allows users to search for and download annual reports (including audited financial statements and audit reports) of companies listed on stock exchanges such as London, New York, NASDAQ, Australia, and Toronto. The data for these foreign companies include financial statements prepared according to the two most popular accounting standards systems in the world:
- International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS): Companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (IFRS, UK GAAP) and the Australian Stock Exchange (AASB equivalent to IFRS).
- US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP): Companies listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ (US GAAP), and the Toronto Stock Exchange (US GAAP and Canadian GAAP).
At this launch, the data includes more than 7,600 audited financial statements of Vietnamese public companies and over 3,500 annual reports of internationally listed companies.
We hope this will be a valuable source of financial statements and audit reports for study, research, and reference in the fields of accounting, auditing, and finance in Vietnam. This portal complements other support tools within the Kreston (VN) “ecosystem,” such as the National Escaped Enterprise Invoice Lookup System, the IFRS Handbook for Vietnamese Users, the Vietnamese Accounting and Auditing Legal Document Portal, the Transfer Pricing Portal, and the Transfer Pricing Database.
